I have an obsession with Pinterest! I both love it, but I also hate it, and in this post, I want to talk about why! I love Pinterest, because I love aesthetic photos. I love finding inspiration for my next outfit or my next project, or basically just inspiration for anything. However, Pinterest has a dark side, at least according to me. When I look at all those aesthetic photos, I can't stop comparing the pictures to my life. I know a picture is a fraction of a second of someone's life, but somehow my brain convinces me that everyone is living this amazing, aesthetic life, and then there's me: the opposite of aesthetic!
I try to be aesthetic. I try to romanticize everything I do. I always fail. I'm a messy person! I need to learn it's okay to be a messy person. I have this Instagram account with almost 1300 followers, but I never use it, because every time I post something, I deletes it after three seconds, and the reason? It's not aesthetic enough! I feel so dumb for writing this, but I must not be the only one who does this? Right?
Anyways, right now it's the middle of summer, and it's super hot where I'm living, and I cannot cope. At least I have found three aesthetic pictures on Pinterest, which I've shared with you in this post. I also want to say, that I will try to post 3-4 times per week, but in times where I'm feeling unwell mentally, there will probably be less posts. I'm currently feeling unwell mentally, just so you know :)
